Geisa Fabrics optimizes its production capacity and sustainability with the installation of the Thies soft-TRD SII 140-1 model, funded by the CDTI and the ERDF

Geisa Fabrics continues its firm commitment to technological excellence and environmental responsibility at its production center in Burgos. Within the framework of its strategic modernization plan, the company has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of new high-precision dyeing machinery. It is a JET system, specifically the advanced soft-TRD SII 140/1 (200 KG) model from the prestigious German firm Thies.

- Description and objectives: Optimize production processes and take a technological leap in resource management, production capacity, and energy savings.
- Geographical scope: Burgos.
- Total budget / Investment: €267,000.00.
- Total EU aid allocated (ERDF): €57,963.15.
- Execution period: 02/2025 – 02/2026.
Milestones Achieved
The implementation of the Thies soft-TRD technology has allowed the following milestones to be reached:
- Infrastructure modernization: The new Jet (ID no. 100007668) was installed in the space occupied by two old machines that were dismantled to improve efficiency.
- Digital control: Launch of the first tests using software from the Spanish company ESCARRE for complete process control.
- Operational efficiency: A 33% reduction in water consumption and optimization of energy use in each dyeing cycle.
