Geisa Fabrics renews the Global Recycled Standard GRS 4.0 certification (2026-2027)
Geisa Fabrics’ commitment to sustainability and transparency is a fundamental part of our identity. Faithful to our purpose of minimizing environmental impact and fostering a cleaner textile industry, we are pleased to announce the renewal of our Global Recycled Standard (GRS) version 4.0.
This certification, valid until March 23, 2027, confirms that our processes comply with the strictest international standards regarding the use of recycled fibers. On this occasion, the audit was conducted by the entity Control Union Services, which has meticulously verified the traceability of our products, from raw material to finished fabric.
Excellence in processes and materials
The renewal of the GRS seal guarantees that responsible knitting, dyeing, and finishing practices are carried out at our facilities in Barcelona and Burgos. Certified products include various knitted fabrics with compositions reaching up to 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, allowing us to offer textile solutions that stand out not only for their technical quality but also for their ecological value.
Through the GRS standard, we not only certify recycled content but also ensure compliance with rigorous social and environmental criteria, as well as responsible chemical management throughout production.
