Geisa Fabrics has become the first B2B textile company manufacturing knitted fabrics to be certified as a B Corp in both Spain and Europe.
Geisa Fabrics, a family-owned company in the textile sector specializing in high-quality and sustainable knitted fabrics for B2B clients, has reached a major milestone by achieving B Corp certification—an internationally recognized standard that validates companies meeting the highest levels of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
According to Albert Millán, CEO of Geisa Fabrics:
“This recognition is the natural result of a path we began years ago, with a clear vision of embedding sustainability at the heart of our brand and into the very core of our business culture.”
It has been a journey grounded in environmental responsibility, care for people, active listening, and a deep commitment to quality and customer service.
“We are proud—and feel a great sense of responsibility—to become the first B2B textile company manufacturing knitted fabrics to be certified as a B Corp in Spain and in Europe. We will continue working within a cycle of continuous improvement, driven by the ambition to remain innovation leaders in the textile industry, deeply committed to sustainability in all its forms,” Millán adds.
Geisa Fabrics seeks to transform the sector through practices that not only protect the environment and reduce ecological impact, but also foster more human-centered social and economic progress—building a purpose-driven business model.
The B Corp certification distinguishes those companies that strive not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world. In Geisa’s case, this means a way of manufacturing that deeply respects the natural environment as well as all the people involved in its ecosystem—from internal teams to suppliers, clients, and the wider community.
“At Geisa, we see ourselves as one big family, and this certification is the result of the commitment, consistency, and care we’ve put into everything we do over the years. It’s a recognition we proudly share with everyone who has been part of this journey, and it further strengthens our purpose: to keep improving and generating a positive impact in everything around us,” concludes Elena Raventós, member of the executive team.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter for Geisa Fabrics: to lead the transformation toward a more ethical, sustainable, and people-centered textile industry—blending innovation and cutting-edge technology in the production of knitted fabrics.
With our eyes on the future and the next generations, we keep knitting today the industry of tomorrow.
